The Night The Glacier Came (part 2)

"Can we stop it?" asked Megan.

"I don't see how," Winter replied. "If both of us were ten times our size and we pushed very hard for a very long time, we wouldn't even slow it down. A glacier is strong and it knows what it wants. Once it begins to move itself it's hard to get it to stop again."

"We have to try to do something," said Megan. "Everyone is fast asleep. If the Glacier keeps coming it'll turn them all into ice cubes."

"I know," agreed Winter.

They thought and they thought about what they could do, and after a while they definitely knew they should get some help right away. So they called for the Windman

And Whoooosh! The Windman came.

"What can I do for you?" he asked.

"Make the Glacier go away," Megan told him.

So Whoooosh! and Whoooosh! The Windman blew, he flew right up to the side of the Glacier and tried to blow it away. Woooooooooooooooooooosh! But the Glacier was too big even for the Windman, so in the end he just flew away.

And the Glacier kept coming.

Rrrrrrrrrrrr...

It looked pretty bad and it didn't look nice. If they didn't find some way to stop it soon, the Glacier would come right into the city and cover it over with snow and ice.

"What about the Iceman?" Megan suggested. "He's pretty strong and knows about cold."

So they called the Iceman song together and after a while the Iceman came by, flying inside his frozen cloud.
