The Dragon Who Ate The Moon (part2)

The night became dark and it made Megan shiver. The wind arrived and flew through the trees, rustling leaves and bending the branches. Megan knew all about the Windman, she'd met him before with a few of her friends, so she sang his special Windman Song.

And Whoooosh! The Windman came. "What can I do for you?" he said.

"What happened to the moon?" Megan asked.

"I'll go and see," the Windman told her and Whoooosh! He blew away. A few moments later and Whoooosh! He returned and flew down to Megan again.

"A Dragon has eaten the moon," he explained.

Megan didn't know what to say. She didn't know what to do. She knew she would miss the moon a lot if it never returned to the sky.

"I'd better rescue it right away," Megan decided. "If I don't do it soon it might be too late and the night will be always dark. What right has a Dragon to eat the moon? It isn't fair and it isn't nice. Just because a Dragon is big, it doesn't mean that he can do whatever he wants to."

Megan was sure that this was true, but she stopped for a moment to think things through in case there was something she'd missed. There was. "I suppose this Dragon is pretty big?" she asked.

"The Dragon is big," the Windman agreed.

"How big is he?" Megan asked. " Really big?"

"Bigger than you." the Windman replied.

"Well I don't care," Megan said. "The Dragon can be just as big as he wants, but that doesn't mean that he's smart. If he was so smart he wouldn't eat the moon. I may be small but I'd never do that. You blow that old Dragon down to me, Windman. I know a good trick or two."
